TRAVEL CONSULTANT
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing flight reservations, hotel and car reservations or package tours, and other travel assistance that the passenger may require for his/her trip.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Handles bookings, reservation and land arrangement for corporate as well as individual accounts.
- Responsible for extracting customer requirements and passenger information for travel purposes.
- Checks all documentation requirements of the passenger.
- Analyzes routing/itinerary and calculates best fare construction for the client.
- Responsible for coordinating cash, check or credit card payment to the Cashier.
- Answers inquiries and handles complaints of passengers and submits report to Team Leader.
- Maintains good business relationship with clients, suppliers and global partners.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Tourism, Travel Management, or any 4-year related course.
- Graduate of Vocational travel course may be accepted as long as he/she has more than 3 years actual experience in the travel industry in the same capacity.
- Exposure in an IATA accredited Agency
- Wide exposure in processing corporate/individual type of travel at least from a large account
- Training in any GDS programs such as Amadeus, Abacus and/or Galileo
- Knowledgeable in creation of Itinerary, fulfilment of Documentation requirements
